Key Responsibilities

  • -Directly contribute to assigned project with manager support, which is aligned with NDDS responsibilities and student experiences/goals.

  • -Actively participate in mentoring and informal networking meetings, formal symposiums, and cross-functional discussions with Research team members to learn about roles across the drug discovery and development pipeline.

  • -Present overall project and scientific findings at the conclusion of the internship.

  • -Undergraduate student should have continued interest in pursuing academic endeavors or a career in the sciences after graduation.

  • -Availability for full-time employment (40 hours/week) throughout the 10-week internship period of June 7th to August 13th.

  • Core Competencies

  • -Communication: Clear scientific writing and data summarization, plus oral presentation skills for conveying findings to a multidisciplinary audience.

  • -Critical thinking and judgment: Sound reasoning in interpreting data, with attention to detail, accurate documentation, and data integrity.

  • -Adaptability and multi-tasking: Learning new technologies and methods quickly, and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • -Collaboration and growth mindset: Teamwork across functions, intellectual curiosity, initiative, and receptiveness to mentoring and feedback.

  • We hire for skills and capabilities, not just credentials – if this role excites you, but doesn’t perfectly match your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
