About the Role
The Non-Woven Operator is responsible for producing quality non-woven material on the production line in a safe, efficient manner while meeting production standards. The role supports safety compliance and continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
- Operate all non-woven equipment safely and efficiently in line with production standards/specifications.
- Start up and shut down lines safely.
- Operate the slitter and slit product to specifications.
- Make and test binder; upload binder trucks.
- Perform proper housekeeping to maintain a 5S level in the department.
- Operate and maintain Powered Industrial Trucks and equipment relative to the production line.
- Be required to enter confined spaces.
- Perform preventative maintenance, make adjustments as necessary, and perform minor repairs.
- Understand Goods Issue Slip and Kan Ban pull system.
- Record all quality checks as specified.
- Operate balers.
- Perform RF transactions.
- Complete all other lead/supervisor directed tasks.
- Note: Non-woven operators must be trained within 6 months, per QS-PR-035.
