About this role
About the Role The Network Administrator is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, tracking, and reporting the daily operational activities of Surf Internet’s fiber-based network and systems. The role supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software issues across Surf Internet’s network, and installs/configures routers, switches and FTTH equipment. This is a 1st Shift position (Friday through Monday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST) reporting to the Network Operations Supervisor. What You'll Do
- Incident Management: Monitor the Surf network for events and anomalies that may disrupt the customer experience
- Outage Management: Initiate, coordinate and lead triage efforts to restore customer services and mitigate future events
- Point of contact for Enterprise Customer communications (IVR and email) and facilitate outage/maintenance notifications
