About the Role
As a Nitrogen Operator, you will play a critical role in safely transporting and setting up equipment at customer sites, ensuring smooth operations and meeting client requirements.
What You'll Do
- Safely transport equipment to customer sites and perform rig-up and rig-out of customer systems
- Monitor, inspect, and adjust all major equipment during operations, following standard operating procedures to ensure proper performance and meet customer requirements
- Accurately complete job logs, customer delivery tickets, and trip reports
- Work under limited supervision in the field and may be required to stay away from home for extended periods
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and must be available to report to work within approximately two hours when called
- Comply with all LSCI/Linde policies related to training, accidents, reporting, emergency response, accident investigation, and hazardous materials transportation
- Rotating shift schedule, with daily shifts typically ranging between 8 and 15 hours
- Performing services and deliver products primarily outdoors, day and night, in all weather conditions
What We're Looking For
- Commercial Class 1 driver’s license with airbrake endorsement
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
- Physically able to do heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and climb ladders
- Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to remain attentive to hazard recognition
- Ability to clearly communicate jobsite needs (nitrogen, fuel, personnel, additional or replacement equipment)
- Willingness to support cost containment by managing procurement, overtime, transport delays, lodging choices, and following LSCI/Linde travel guidelines
- Experience handling cryogenics is an asset
