Job title: Ninde College Access Support Specialist
About the Role The Ninde College Access Support Specialist is a part-time, on-site role for Oberlin College students to support the Ninde College Access Program at Oberlin High School. The role focuses on administrative support, data tasks, and outreach to promote college access services including tours and applications.
What You'll Do
- Work with the College Access Coordinator and Education Programs Director to: Assist students with college applications; Assist students with scholarship applications; Create promotional materials for workshops and events; Gather and input programmatic data; Create slide deck templates for reporting; Contact colleges/universities to request tours; Other support duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Current Oberlin College student with an interest in working with high school students; - Understanding of college application and scholarship process; - Dependable, customer-service oriented, and able to resume tasks after frequent interruptions.
Nice to Have
- Optional/preferred qualifications not explicitly required, such as experience creating promotional materials, data entry, or working with diverse student populations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $17 per hour; On-site at Oberlin High School; 2-3 days per week, 2+ hours per day, between 8am–4pm.
