Job title: NIH Security Guard
Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking a Security Guard to join our NIH security team in Hamilton, MT. This is a non-exempt, hourly position supporting NIH operations and maintaining secure facilities.
What You'll Do
- Observe and report activity
- Follow established policies and procedures
- Perform foot patrol of campus and buildings, checking for signs of a security breach
- Report maintenance and safety issues
- Assist all guard posts
- Assist during emergency situations
- Respond to alarms as needed
- Escort employees and visitors
- Man posts and maintain access control
- Perform vehicle inspections and process visitors using computer system
- Travel requirements: 0 - 10%

- Must have authorization to work in the United States
- Physical: ability to lift up to 50 pounds; sit or stand for long periods; able to walk up several flights of stairs
Compensation & Benefits
- Total hourly pay: $21.15 per hour for up to 40 hours/week (base $21.15 + $5.00 per hour Health & Welfare)
