About the Role The New Grad X-ray Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support the imaging department to ensure smooth operations and compassionate patient care at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT. This role emphasizes safe imaging practices, patient comfort, and collaboration with the radiology team to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

What You'll Do

• Perform diagnostic imaging exams following department protocols and ALARA principles.
• Assess and support patients physically and emotionally before, during, and after imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with providers and radiology team members to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
• Assist with exam preparation, venipuncture (as applicable), and post-procedure instructions.
• Ensure timely documentation, image quality assurance, and protocol compliance.
• Monitor and report any equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe imaging environment.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required).
• ARRT Certification in Radiology (required).
• Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required).
• Current BLS CPR certification (RQI Responder) (required).
• Knowledge of radiology protocols, equipment, and patient prep techniques.
• Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a passion for patient care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to learn and adapt, with strong computer and documentation skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology; knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical office.
