Network & User Administrator
Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- To support the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure and user systems while ensuring secure and reliable connectivity
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide basic support for network connectivity issues (e.g., POS, internet, user devices).
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other user hardware.
- Monitor and escalate critical alerts and warnings on network infrastructure.
- Support antivirus and endpoint protection updates across user devices.
- Assist in maintaining internet and email connectivity.
- Collaborate in applying patches and updates to systems and devices.
- Perform routine maintenance and health checks on network devices and user systems.
- Support first-level troubleshooting for network and user incidents.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware and network devices inventory.
- Provide support for compliance tasks under supervision (e.g., PCIDSS readiness, audit responses).
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior administrators or relevant teams.
Job Requirements
- University Education: B.Sc./B.Eng. in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, or related disciplines (minimum Second-Class Lower).
- Others: CCNA, MCP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, ITIL Foundation is an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in user support and basic network administration.
