About the Role The Network Engineer will contribute to VALCE T@lent Solutions by assessing networks, implementing and maintaining network infrastructure, and leading troubleshooting efforts. The role may involve working with customers and partner teams such as AT&T and mentoring junior engineers. What You'll Do
- Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for network upgrades and improvements
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure and controls
- Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams and standard operating procedures
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for network issues
- Collaborate with other IT teams to support business applications
- Monitor and train junior engineers and act as subject matter expert for customer and AT&T organizations and lead complex programs or projects
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of network components (switches, routers, firewalls, and related devices)
- Apply strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and networking concepts
- Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose network issues
- Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction through timely resolution of escalated issues What We're Looking For
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure components like switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and networking
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and diagnose network issues
