About the Role MTSI is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This role will contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions that support our operations and customers. What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to deploy scalable, secure network architectures.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on network engineering experience with Cisco or equivalent devices; experience with firewalls, VPNs, and security controls.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, and network security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have
- Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN.
