About the Role Join the Transport team responsible for preparing and maintaining IP network configurations for a large-scale telecommunications system that supports critical public-safety networks. You will work closely with networking equipment vendors, including HPE, Juniper, and Fortinet, to build and sustain robust network platforms. What You'll Do
- Prepare and maintain IP network configurations for a large-scale telecommunications system.
- Collaborate with hardware vendors (HPE, Juniper, Fortinet) to configure and optimize networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to keep critical systems online.
- Support routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, PIM), switching (STP), DNS, PKI, and firewall policies (L3/L7).
- Ensure security, reliability, and performance of transport networks; document configurations. What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, Telecommunications, Electronics, Automation and Robotics, Physics, or related field.
- Technical knowledge: Understanding of TCP/IP, multicast, routing (OSPF, BGP, PIM), firewalls (L3, L7), switching (STP), DNS, PKI.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
- Communication: Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Core attributes: Self-driven, detail-oriented, highly motivated.
- Experience with large-scale telecom networks and vendor collaboration is a plus. Nice to Have
- Experience working with networking equipment vendors such as HPE, Juniper, and Fortinet.
