  • Track project progress, identify technical risks, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and specifications.

  • Documentation and Technical Support

  • Prepare network diagrams, fibre-core allocation schedules, test reports, installation records, and as-built drawings.

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment, cabling, configurations, and completed works.

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for deployed infrastructure.

  • Train client personnel where required and support project handover.

  • Follow applicable health, safety, and quality procedures.

  • Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Networks, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of practical experience in network engineering, telecommunications, or network infrastructure deployment.

  • Demonstrable experience working on fibre-optic installation and implementation projects.

  • Practical knowledge of fibre-optic splicing, termination, testing, and commissioning.

  • Experience using OTDRs, optical power meters, and other fibre-testing equipment.

  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, and structured cabling.

  • Experience configuring network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, MikroTik, Huawei, Ubiquiti, HPE/Aruba, or equivalent.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, network diagrams, and project specifications.

  • Good technical reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel to project sites within Kenya and work in the field when required.
