Network Architect

About the Role A hands-on Network Architect who is a geek at heart, seeking to learn and implement cutting-edge SDN and AI-DC networking platforms. You will design, implement, roll out and troubleshoot networks across DC LAN, Campus LAN and WAN, with deep expertise in Cisco ACI, VMware, Juniper, F5, Arista, Nexus and VXLAN, and you will drive niche implementations for AI/ML workloads in on-prem and hybrid cloud environments. What You'll Do

• Develop expertise in Software Defined Networking and Data Center designs for OEMs such as Cisco, Arista, HP, etc.; contribute to automation and performance tooling.
• Design and implement leaf-spine / Clos-based data center networks optimized for AI workloads; architect lossless, low-latency fabrics (100G/200G/400G/800G).
• RDMA-enabled networking (RoCEv2/InfiniBand alternatives); configure lossless Ethernet (PFC, ECN, QoS).
• Build scalable east-west traffic architectures for GPU clusters; integrate AI cluster networking with storage fabrics (NVMe-oF, parallel file systems).
• Develop hybrid connectivity models (on-prem DC, cloud AI services, inter-DC fabrics).
• Deploy network monitoring for real-time telemetry (gRPC, SNMP, NetFlow/sFlow) and flow-level visibility for AI workloads.
• Leverage AIOps platforms to detect anomalies and predict congestion/capacity bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with partner BU and TAC teams to meet business objectives within agreed timelines; support Pre-Sales as SMEs in RFIs/RFPs.
• Perform Network Assessments for clients' Data Center, AI LAN and WAN; generate Gap Analyses and Improvement Plans.
• Develop Best Practices for implementation, migration and transition of SDN and data center networks.
• Drive value for customers by developing service products in the lab and contributing to GTM with Product teams. What We're Looking For
• 14+ years of experience in network technologies; preferably CCIE or VMware VCIX-NV certifications.
• Hands-on expertise across DC LAN, Campus LAN and WAN; strong background with Cisco ACI, VMware, Juniper, F5, Arista, Nexus, VXLAN; exposure to similar platforms.
• Good automation capabilities in Python or similar; experience with network simulation and performance tooling.
• Deep design experience: leaf-spine/Clos DCN, low-latency, high-bandwidth fabrics, and RDMA-enabled networking.
• Strong skills in storage-network integration for AI workloads (NVMe-oF, parallel file systems) and lossless Ethernet configurations.
• Ability to design and implement hybrid connectivity (on-prem to cloud) and scalable GPU cluster networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration with TAC/partner teams and ability to support Pre-Sales.
• Familiarity with Telemetry and monitoring tools, and interest in AIOps for anomaly detection and capacity planning. Nice to Have
• CCIE or VMware VCIX-NV certifications (preferred).
• Prior exposure to Cisco ACI, Arista, HP platforms and experience with AI/ML workloads.
• Automation scripting in Python or similar; experience with NVMe-oF storage and GPU clustering.
