Network Administration Senior Specialist
The Network Administrator is responsible for the operational support, administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ABM's enterprise networking infrastructure across campus, branch, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role provides Tier I and Tier II support for enterprise network services, including routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and cloud networking technologies.
The Network Administrator works closely with Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Operations, Service Desk, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient, and highly available network services. The role supports network modernization initiatives, automation programs, observability platforms, and Zero Trust security objectives while maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction

Provide Tier I/Tier II operational support for enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and Internet connectivity services.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance, availability, and reliability issues.

Install, configure, maintain, and support Cisco networking infrastructure including Catalyst switching, wireless controllers, and Meraki environments.

Perform network refreshes, hardware replacements, software upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.

Maintain network configurations, VLANs, routing protocols, wireless infrastructure, and IP address management.

Support network security technologies including firewalls, NAC solutions, MFA integrations, segmentation, and secure remote access.

Partner with Cybersecurity teams on vulnerability remediation, incident response, and infrastructure hardening initiatives.

Utilize monitoring and observability platforms to proactively identify and remediate performance issues.

Analyze packet captures, NetFlow data, latency issues, and application performance metrics.

Support automation initiatives using Ansible, Terraform, Python, REST APIs, and Git-based workflows.

Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operating procedures.

Participate in project implementations, maintenance windows, and on-call support rotations.
