About this role

NetSuite / PSA Integration Architect | Consultant

100% Remote | 6+ Month Contract | 30+ Hours per Week

$85-$95/hr (DOE)

Take Ownership of a Critical NetSuite Integration

Our client, a leading NetSuite implementation partner, is seeking an experienced NetSuite / PSA Integration Architect to step into a critical integration initiative and make an immediate impact.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a complex technical project connecting Oracle NetSuite with a Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform. You'll play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing integrations that support essential business processes across project accounting, resource management, time and expense tracking, billing, and financial operations.

We're looking for a hands-on technical expert who can bridge architecture and development, translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions, and drive the initiative from design through deployment and production stabilization.

Experience with Canam Systems PSA (Proven Software Applications) is a significant advantage, but it isn't a requirement. Candidates with a strong track record of integrating NetSuite with other PSA, ERP, project management, or financial platforms are encouraged to apply.

This is a 100% remote contract opportunity for US-based candidates, offering an immediate start, an initial six-month engagement, and a strong likelihood of extension. If you're ready to solve challenging integration problems and deliver solutions that make a measurable difference, this opportunity deserves your attention.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Architecting and implementing integrations between Oracle NetSuite and PSA platforms
  • Translating business requirements into scalable integration architecture and technical specifications
  • Defining data flows, system interfaces, data mappings, synchronization rules, and system-of-record ownership
  • Developing integrations using SuiteTalk REST/SOAP APIs, RESTlets, SuiteScript 2.x, and middleware platforms
  • Integrating customers, projects, employees, resources, time entries, expenses, billing, invoices, and financial transactions
  • Implementing bidirectional data synchronization to maintain data accuracy and consistency across systems
  • Developing, testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing integrations and supporting NetSuite customizations
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders, NetSuite developers, administrators, PSA specialists, and third-party vendors
  • Resolving integration failures, API issues, transaction errors, and data discrepancies
  • Establishing integration monitoring, logging, error handling, reconciliation, and data integrity controls
  • Coordinating unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and production validation
  • Supporting data migration, transformation, deployment, cutover, and post-production stabilization
  • Documenting integration architecture, technical specifications, data mappings, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Identifying automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve integration reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Providing technical recommendations to strengthen NetSuite and PSA integration architecture and support future business needs

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Oracle NetSuite experience, including substantial hands-on technical development or integration architecture expertise

  • Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting complex ERP integrations

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite SuiteTalk REST and/or SOAP APIs

  • Strong knowledge of SuiteScript 2.x, RESTlets, and NetSuite customization

  • Experience with integration middleware such as Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato, Oracle Integration Cloud, or comparable platforms

  • Strong understanding of NetSuite architecture, data structures, data mapping, transformation, synchronization, and reconciliation

  • Experience troubleshooting complex integrations across development, testing, and production environments

  • Knowledge of integration security, authentication, logging, monitoring, and error handling

  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical challenges, and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

  • Nice-to-Haves

  • Direct experience integrating Oracle NetSuite with Canam Systems PSA (Proven Software Applications)

  • Experience integrating NetSuite with other professional services automation platforms

  • Background supporting professional services organizations or project-based businesses

  • Understanding of project accounting, resource management, time and expense management, project costing, project billing, and revenue recognition

  • NetSuite OneWorld experience, including multi-subsidiary and multi-currency environments

  • Familiarity with accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, project profitability, and project forecasting

  • Experience integrating project management, financial, or other enterprise business applications

  • Experience with data migration, large-scale data transformation, and financial systems integration

  • Experience supporting integrations through go-live and post-production stabilization

  • Experience working directly with third-party vendors and implementation partners

  • Why This Opportunity?

  • Competitive compensation: $85-$95/hr (DOE)
