Job title: .Net Core Software Engineer
About the Role Accenture Flex offers the flexibility of local fixed-duration project-based work powered by Accenture. As a .Net Core Software Engineer, you will apply your skills to help drive business transformation for clients, delivering innovative software solutions and collaborating with a global network of teams. The role requires onsite work in the local metro area (60% on-site) with 40% remote work and a time-away requirement per calendar quarter.
What You'll Do
- Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
- Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
- Ensure software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.
- Collaborate with teams to apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality, and contribute to overall solution delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of work experience.
- Proficient in Linux, Tomcat, Oracle, IIS, Windows, and .NET.
- Strong development skills in Java, J2EE, Kafka, REST, and SOAP services.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
- Ability to apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality.
- Experience with DevOps practices, solution design, technical strategy development, business acumen, collaboration, analytical thinking, and data management.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly salary range: $40-$50 USD (locations vary).
