Job title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
About the Role The Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) will join Endeavor Health's Neonatology team at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. The APP will work autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary care team to provide care for newborns in L&D, the newborn nursery, and the NICU, including delivery room resuscitation and long-term care for late preterm infants.
What You'll Do
- Provide appropriate medical care to newborn patients in L&D, newborn nursery, and ICU during scheduled shift under supervision of a physician.
- Ensure an adequate and accurate medical record is maintained for each patient treated during the shift.
- Perform procedures as needed (PPV, intubation, central lines, chest tubes).
- Collaborate with the neonatology care team; participate in developing, reviewing, and evaluating policies and procedures; participate in QI monitoring.
- Serve as a resource for clinical skills for staff and participate in clinical research opportunities when available.
- Engage in self and peer evaluation to improve quality of care.
What We're Looking For
- IL Licensure as an APRN or Physician Assistant; active Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License.
- Master's degree in a neonatal specialty area; NCC Neonatal NP certification; BLS and NRP certifications.
- 5+ years of IP Newborn experience (highly preferred) or other relevant acute pediatric experience.
- Knowledge of newborn airway management (including intubation), central line placement (umbilical and PCVC), and chest tube placement.
Nice to Have
- Interest or experience in clinical research within neonatology.

- Salary: $57.76 - $80.86 per hour (USD).
