About the Role Volt is hiring for an NDT Tech Visual in Decatur, IL. The NDT technician is part of a team that provides visual weld inspections and other non-destructive inspections to the steel fabrications assembly group. The team performs receiving, in-stream processes, and outgoing quality audits to validate cast and fabricated structures per weld engineering and manufacturing specifications. Individuals are responsible for tracking and entering inspection results in electronic databases. The technician would be based in the production factory building. This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity. Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift. What You'll Do
- Perform visual weld inspections and other non-destructive inspections on the steel fabrications assembly group.
- Support receiving, in-stream processes, and outgoing quality audits to validate cast and fabricated structures per weld engineering and manufacturing specifications.
- Track and enter inspection results in electronic databases.
- Be based in the production factory building and work on 2nd or 3rd shift. What We're Looking For

- Interest in a visual NDT role within manufacturing context. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $23 - $28 per hour. Range may be based on education, experience, location, specific duties, certifications, etc.
