We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: NDT Supervisor – Level I / II / III

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Contract

Job Purpose

• To supervise and coordinate non-destructive testing activities and personnel to ensure inspections are performed safely, correctly and in accordance with approved procedures, applicable standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise NDT inspection activities.
• Coordinate NDT technicians and inspection personnel.
• Review work scopes and inspection requirements.
• Ensure appropriate NDT methods and procedures are followed.
• Monitor inspection activities and work quality.
• Review NDT reports and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, engineering and construction teams.
• Ensure inspection equipment is available, calibrated and fit for use.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, standards and client specifications.
• Ensure NDT activities comply with PTW and HSE requirements.
• Prepare daily progress and inspection reports.
• Investigate and escalate inspection issues and non-conformities.

Depending on the candidate's certification/specialisation:

• UT
• RT
• MT
• PT
• VT
• PAUT
• TOFD
• Other applicable NDT methods

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 - 13 years experience and at least 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Relevant NDT qualification/certification.
• Appropriate ASNT/PCN/ISO 9712 or equivalent certification as required.
• Relevant NDT inspection experience.
• Supervisory experience for higher levels.
• Knowledge of applicable inspection codes and standards.
• Oil & gas/project experience preferred.
