Job title: National Key Account Manager

About the Role National Key Account Manager at JAS is responsible for retaining and growing assigned accounts, overseeing tactical and strategic activities to maximize service value, efficiency and revenue across the global network.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage implementation of new services in collaboration with Operations at origins/destinations; create, distribute, and maintain SOPs in collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Finance; ensure branches understand and execute SOPs.
  • Maintain rates and assess yields on a monthly basis; monitor accounts for timely payments and assist with collections on past due invoices.
  • Set up internal reports to monitor performance against critical milestones; document meeting notes, action items, complaints, compliments in CRM and distribute to the global network.
  • Assign corrective actions for issues/complaints and follow up on effectiveness; manage and lead business reviews with quarterly cycle; engage Sales and Operations in client meetings, presentations, and reviews.
  • Travel within region as needed to visit accounts/sites/branches; update status of progress on business opportunities; continuously explore additional areas of the business to uncover opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements; understand accounts' strategy and mitigate risks; identify growth opportunities and develop a strategy with internal resources; create a business development plan with short- and long-term objectives and quantified value-added contributions.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent organizational skills; excellent written and verbal skills including presentations; troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  • Leads by example; sense of urgency; creative; able to respond to changing demands; detail oriented; able to multitask and meet deadlines; self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
  • Minimum two years' experience in logistics or related service industry; minimum one-year operational experience in the service(s) the account utilizes.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; good analytical and program management skills; ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; internal/external sales skills.
