Job title: National Account Manager
About the Role The National Account Manager (NAM) will lead profitable sales of Belkin's commercial products into the East Region, driving growth for Commercial & Enterprise end customers. This field sales role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong IT-channel background, and the ability to collaborate with Inside Sales, Marketing, Regional Product Management, and Customer Departments to execute business plans and revenue strategies.
What You'll Do
- Strategically sell Belkin's commercial portfolio in the East region to commercial and Enterprise end customers (IT decision makers).
- Build relationships across accounts from frontline reps to executives; identify opportunities; maximize sell-through, revenue, profit, and market share.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline; forecast revenue weekly/monthly/quarterly using Salesforce; establish annual account budgets.
- Collaborate with channel partners and internal teams to achieve sales and profit goals; lead quarterly and annual sales plans and reviews.
- Present proposals and business cases demonstrating Belkin's value; negotiate terms; close new business; travel domestically up to 50%.
- Monitor sales performance, R&As, quotes, promotions, inventory, and backorders; ensure accurate forecasting.
- Drive account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners to close business and meet targets; ensure ISO compliance and a safe work environment.
- Use Salesforce to record calls and opportunities; report to management as requested.
What We're Looking For
- Four-year degree required; Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Marketing, or Technology highly desirable.
- Five or more years’ experience as an Account Manager or higher sales position; direct industry or channel experience required; East Region experience; end-user selling experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience desired; PowerBI and Business Objects experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication; solid presentation skills.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50%.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001; support IS0 system; align with Health & Safety and Belkin rules.
Nice to Have
- Salesforce, Power BI and Business Objects experience (desired).
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
