About the Role
Join our NAPA family as an Automotive Parts Specialist, providing and sourcing parts for fleet customers. Use your parts knowledge to assist teammates and customers, delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. This role is a strong entry point to grow within the parts organization.
What You'll Do
- Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers.
- Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers.
- Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians.
- Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast-paced environment.
- Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
- Inform customers on parts availability.
What We're Looking For
- Genuine enjoyment in helping fleet customers with their parts and service needs.
- Experience in the automotive industry or hands-on tinkering/repair, or willingness to learn.
- Desire to grow your parts experience by working on a team with other NAPA parts professionals.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn all things auto parts.
- High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses/degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, strong listening skills and empathy for customers.
- Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment.
Nice to Have
- Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership.
- Experience in airport ground support equipment.
- Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, and/or inventory management systems.
- ASE Certifications.
