Job title: N-Spec Technician
About the Role The N-Spec Technician supports pipeline projects by transporting equipment trailers, rigging NSPEC equipment, loading and launching pipeline pigs, and operating and maintaining pumps and air compressors. This role involves hands-on field work, safety participation, and collaboration with customers and project teams to ensure efficient execution.
What You'll Do
- Transport equipment trailers to and from pipeline project locations
- Rig NSPEC equipment to prepare for pipeline projects (hammer unions, flanged piping, hoses, etc.)
- Load and launch pipeline pigs
- Operate and maintain triplex pumps to inject cleaning fluids into pipelines
- Operate and maintain large air compressors/dryers
- Track pipeline pigs using geophones and electronic transmitter/receiver
- Receive and remove pipeline pigs from pig receiver
- Operate separation equipment
- Pressure wash and rebuild pipeline pigs
- Attend daily/weekly/monthly safety meetings
- Perform related duties as assigned

- Education and Experience: Computer experience; basic experience writing and submitting proposals; customer service experience; must interact well with customers; advanced operator experience; ability to communicate effectively with others; organized, dependable, and prompt; valid driver’s license; analytical/problem-solving ability; capable of critical thinking and offering solutions
