About the Role Live Nation's House of Blues in New Orleans is seeking a Music Hall Bartender to serve beverages and food in a lively venue. You will engage guests with a cheerful, professional demeanor and support efficient service that contributes to a great guest experience. This role supports a venue that celebrates diverse music genres and a community-focused mission. What You'll Do
- Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor
- Cultivate regular guests and repeat business
- Successfully complete a pour test prior to every shift, where applicable
- Suggestively sell both beverages and menu items to guests at the bar
- Deliver food items and beverage orders promptly
- Prioritize and organize drink orders
- Consistently prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, abide by all control systems
- Record any equipment failure and/or safety hazards in bar log
- Recognize when guests are becoming too intoxicated and refuse further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of a manager
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance What We're Looking For
