About the Role The Music Hall Bartender provides friendly, efficient beverage and food service to guests in a music hall setting, ensuring a positive guest experience. This role emphasizes cheerful service, accuracy, and adherence to safety and alcohol service guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor
- Cultivate regular guests and repeat business
- Successfully complete a pour test prior to every shift, where applicable
- Suggestively sell both beverages and menu items to guests at the bar
- Deliver food items and beverage orders promptly
- Prioritize and organize drink orders
- Consistently prepare beverages
What We're Looking For
- Required: Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
- Required: Ability to work late hours
- Required: Flexible schedule
- Required: Cash handling experience
- Required: Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
- Required: Skill in interpersonal communication and teamwork
- Required: Physically able to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed)
- Required: Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner
- Required: Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
- Preferred: 4 years’ work experience in high volume environment
- Preferred: Experience recognizing valid IDs
- Preferred: Experience in a live music environment
