About the Role Rutgers University is seeking multiple roles within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, including Per Diem Healthcare Provider for the Mom2Mom program, Mental Health Specialist II (Part Time / Per Diem) for the 988 Lifeline Services, and a Program Coordinator for the 988 Lifeline Services – NJ Hopeline, across New Jersey. These roles focus on timely assessments, crisis support, and administrative leadership to ensure quality, compliant, and customer-friendly services. What You'll Do
- For Per Diem Healthcare Provider (Mom2Mom): provide mothers' assessments across New Jersey that meet quality and quantity standards for the Mom2Mom program.
- For Mental Health Specialist II (Part Time/Per Diem) – 988 Lifeline Services: receive and respond to telephone, chat, and/or text requests for service; support the unit's mission to provide streamlined, prompt, and customer-friendly services.
- For Program Coordinator – 988 Lifeline Services – NJ Hopeline: provide administrative leadership and supervision to staff during assigned shifts; oversee services and ensure regulatory compliance. What We're Looking For
- Experience in mental health crisis services and/or call/text/chat-based service delivery (988 Lifeline/NJ Hopeline) is desirable.
- Ability to perform assessments and deliver client-centered support with a focus on timely, quality service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a flexible schedule with per diem/part-time commitments.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality assurance processes; ability to provide supervisory support in program operations. Compensation & Benefits
