About this role
St. John Fisher University is seeking part-time General Education (CORE) faculty to teach within the university’s new core curriculum. Openings cover courses across the general education spectrum, from first-year learning communities, data analysis, and research writing to mid-level exploration courses across various disciplines. Successful applicants will have experience teaching writing and other forms of communication within their area of expertise, and/or strong civic and community connections with a commitment to fostering leadership and understanding of equity and inclusion. Positions are filled on an ongoing, as-needed basis to enhance course offerings. Compensation is provided on a per-course basis at rates set by the University. Part-time instructors will have access to University facilities, receive instructional supplies, and be invited to faculty development opportunities.
