About the Role Terros Health is hosting an in-person open interview hiring event at Priest Drive Recovery Clinic in Tempe, AZ to recruit behavioral health professionals to support individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or general mental health diagnoses under Court Ordered Treatment. The event features on-the-spot interviews and walk-ins, with new grads welcome and entry-level training provided. Open positions include Case Manager, Peer Support Specialist, and Medical Front Desk Specialist (note: we are not recruiting for medical staff at this event).
What You'll Do
- Provide case management and care coordination for clients with SMI or mental health needs.
- Deliver peer support services and engage clients using trauma-informed care.
- Support clinic operations at the front desk and assist with Health Center Relations activities.
- Document in the EMR (NextGen preferred) and coordinate referrals.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team to support patients and families.
What We're Looking For
- Education: GED/high school diploma with 1.5 years behavioral health experience, or an associate degree in medical/behavioral health, or a bachelor’s degree with 1 year behavioral health experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a non-behavioral field with behavioral health experience, or a master’s degree in behavioral health.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid Arizona Driver License; 21+ with at least 4 years driving experience; ability to meet Terros Health driving policy; Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or apply within 7 days of employment); pass background checks and TB test.
- Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and EMR (NextGen preferred); typing at least 25 wpm; strong written and verbal communication; DSM-V knowledge preferred.
- Additional: Certified Case Manager strongly preferred.
