About the Role Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking multiple Faculty/Health Educator openings to advance cancer research, patient care, and education in collaboration with Harvard Medical School. - Serve in roles ranging from tenure-track faculty to department/division leadership, with responsibilities spanning research, teaching, clinical operations, and program development.
- Assistant Professor of Immunology – pursue independent research, contribute to cancer biology studies, and collaborate across Dana-Farber, Harvard Medical School, and related centers.
- Chief, Division of Psychosocial Oncology: oversee the division’s faculty, clinical staff, and trainees; provide academic leadership and strategic direction.
- Director of Clinical Proton Physics Operations: lead day-to-day clinical physics activities for the proton therapy program and support research, development, and teaching.
- Hospitalist/Nocturnist and Medical Oncology Nocturnist: provide patient care in inpatient settings and participate in program operations.
- Professor (Full Professor): contribute to high-impact research and education as a tenured faculty member at Dana-Farber and HMS. What We're Looking For
- Strong track record in cancer biology, psychosocial oncology, medical physics, or related fields; eligible for Harvard Medical School appointment; tenure-track or tenured status depending on the role.
- Leadership experience for division/department roles; excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research; ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- For data-science/imaging roles mentioned in the posting: experience with quantitative methods relevant to cancer clinical trials or imaging analytics is valued. Nice to Have
- Experience in academic leadership, palliative medicine, or transformative cancer care initiatives.

- Salary ranges vary by position; examples include roughly $140,000 to $450,000 per year depending on the specific role (e.g., clinical, academic, or combined leadership roles).
