About the Role The Multimedia Support Engineer coordinates, executes, and supports the multimedia requirements for executive and routine meetings. This role provides technical support for audiovisual and videoconferencing equipment, ensuring high-quality service and maintaining conference rooms in a fast-paced corporate environment. What You'll Do
- Setup, test, operate, and tear down audiovisual, videoconference, and digital signage equipment for meetings.
- Provide technical support for AV and videoconference systems, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Manage videoconferences from start to finish: call setup, end-user training, troubleshooting, and escalation of issues.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance checks and address issues with AV, videoconferencing, and digital signage equipment.
- Provide user training and consultation to end-users on presentation technology equipment.
- Stay updated with current and new audiovisual and videoconference technologies. What We're Looking For
- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Thorough working knowledge of AV and videoconference equipment, including Cisco and Crestron.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in AV and presentation technologies and customer service experience.
- Certifications: CTS certification and relevant training in multimedia systems are desired.
- Communication Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and excel in a team environment.
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
