PPG in Stowmarket is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to perform reactive and planned maintenance on plant equipment, ensuring minimal production disruption and safe working practices. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and contributing to process improvements. What You'll Do

Carry out frequency-based Preventive Maintenance plans to site standards across all areas of the site and rectify issues found.

Diagnose breakdown causes and repair efficiently to minimize production downtime.

Be proactive in business process improvement initiatives and monitor equipment performance trends (efficiency, quality, waste).

Respond to reactive/corrective maintenance requests promptly to reduce downtime.

Follow health and safety guidelines and report hazards immediately. What We're Looking For

Multi-skilled with a mechanically biased skillset and electrical knowledge.

Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ability to work to deadlines and unsupervised.

Quality and Health & Safety awareness.

Minimum Level 3 qualification or apprentice trained.

Good communications skills at all levels.
