About the Role Solventum is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for the Purification & Filtration team in Columbia, MO. This role focuses on maintaining electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems to support Purification & Filtration operations, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and compliance during a transitional period as the P&F business transfers to Thermo Fisher. What You'll Do
- Observing safety procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Performing work as directed by a Maintenance supervisor (or designee) and outlined by Shop Work Orders (SWOs).
- Completing all assigned preventative maintenance tasks and correcting any/all documentation errors.
- Performing electrical/electronic and mechanical calibrations with minimal assistance.
- Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating all electrical/electronic systems with minimal assistance.
- Performing installations of air, water, and electrical with minimal guidance.
- Assisting with all aspects of new equipment installations.
- Managing all hazardous wastes in compliance with RCRA requirements, including labeling all hazardous material and ensuring proper materials are in each drum/container.
- Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts. What We're Looking For
- An associate degree in a mechanical, electrical or electronic field, or a High School Diploma/GED AND 5 years of experience in at least 2 of the following fields: mechanical, electrical or electronic.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Willingness to work 2nd Shift (3:30pm-11:30pm; Monday – Friday) and/or 3rd Shift (11:30pm – 7:30am; Sunday Night – Friday morning) as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written). Nice to Have
- Willingness to pursue necessary education and training to keep current with the technological requirements of the assignment. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Starting at $34.58/hour, with potential to reach $40.11/hour, plus $1.25 shift differential.
