About the Role This role focuses on developing and optimizing the injection molding and finishing processes for MT ferrules to achieve high-precision, high-performance optical interconnects, while breaking through core manufacturing barriers. The selected candidate will work with R&D teams to ensure standards compliance and contribute to next-generation ultra-compact ferrules. What You'll Do
- Develop and optimize the injection molding process for MT ferrules, tightly control microporous cavities, thermal expansion matching, and internal stress to overcome core technical barriers.
- Lead precision grinding and polishing of MT ferrule end faces, ensuring surface flatness at sub-nanometer levels to support low insertion loss and high return loss.
- Verify and iterate MT ferrule materials, optimize PPS and other high-temperature base materials for 80°C+ data center environments.
- Formulate product specifications and testing standards for MT ferrules, ensure indicators comply with IEC 61754-5 and other industry standards, and verify performance of new products such as Tiny MT ultra-compact ferrules.
- Collaborate with the optical connector R&D team to solve alignment accuracy issues in MT ferrule and guide pin matching, and participate in supplier management.
- Participate in cutting-edge pre-research and development of ultra-compact, high-performance MT ferrules for next-generation high-density optical interconnects (CPO/NPO). What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Optical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Manufacturing or related majors.
- More than 2 years of working experience in the R&D or manufacturing process of optical communication ferrule products.
