MRO Technician (Certifying Staff)

BUILD YOUR TECHNICAL FOUNDATION IN AEROSPACE

Put your mechanical, engineering or technical education into practice in a hands-on aerospace environment working with critical aircraft components.

As an MRO Technician (Certifying Staff), you will develop specialized technical knowledge by working directly with APU and aircraft Engine Core, performs hands-on maintenance, inspection, assembly, and testing of aerospace components and APU systems based on strict technical manuals.

Through structured on-the-job training, you will gain practical experience in how aerospace components operate, how faults are identified, and how mechanical and electromechanical components are repaired, overhauled and tested.

This position is ideal for candidates with a mechanical, engineering or technical background who enjoy hands-on problem solving, understanding how equipment works and applying their skills in a highly technical aerospace environment.

LOCATION: Gul Circle, Singapore

WORK SCHEDULE: Onsite | Rotating Shift

Transport: Company transport across Singapore provided

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of APU components in accordance with approved technical data.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with applicable specifications, repair standards, and procedures.
• Certify completed APU repair and maintenance work within the authorized scope.
• Verify component conformity with applicable tolerances, limitations, and manufacturer requirements.
• Review repair and inspection records for accuracy, completeness, and traceability prior to certification.
• Identify and document non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are completed before release.
• Perform SAP transactions and update work orders as required.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and organizational requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Must have at least NTC Aerospace Technology/ Engineering certificate or higher.

• Must have 2-5 years inspector experience in Aerospace Industry

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair documentation in English.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently after going through on the job training.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred

• Experience using precision measurement tools and test equipment.

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.

• Flexible to support operational requirements and overtime as needed.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Teams.

• Must be able to interpret blueprint drawings and use of engine manuals and/or publications

• Preferably with analytical knowledge and computer literate.

• Initiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.

• Familiar with MS Office applications including MS Teams.
