MRO Technician (Assembly/Disassembly)

BUILD YOUR TECHNICAL FOUNDATION IN AEROSPACE

Put your mechanical, engineering or technical education into practice in a hands-on aerospace environment working with critical aircraft components.

As a MRO Technician (Assembly/Disassembly), you will responsible for the safe and efficient disassembly, inspection, assembly, and reassembly of engines, modules, components, parts, and accessories in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.

Through structured on-the-job training, you will gain practical experience in how aerospace components operate, how faults are identified, and how mechanical and electromechanical components are repaired, overhauled and tested.

This position is ideal for candidates with a mechanical, engineering or technical background who enjoy hands-on problem solving, understanding how equipment works and applying their skills in a highly technical aerospace environment.

LOCATION: Gul Circle, Singapore

WORK SCHEDULE: Onsite | Rotating Shift

Transport: Company transport across Singapore provided

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, assembly, inspection, and reassembly of engines, modules, components, parts, and accessories using appropriate machines, equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, technical specifications, and established quality requirements.
• Inspect components for damage, wear, defects, or abnormalities and escalate issues as required.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical or process-related issues encountered during daily operations.
• Perform required SAP transactions and maintain accurate work-order and production records.
• Support Operations Leaders, Supervisor, and Cell Leaders in achieving production, quality, and operational targets.
• Comply with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements and maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace.
• Participate actively in HSE, Continuous Improvement, Ethics, and other corporate initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and operational effectiveness.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Must have at least NTC Aerospace Technology/ Engineering certificate or higher.

• Must have 2 experience in Aerospace Industry

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair documentation in English.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently after going through on the job training.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred

• Ability to interpret blueprint/technical drawings and use engine manuals and/or technical publications.

• Experience using precision measurement tools and test equipment.

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.

• Flexible to support operational requirements and overtime as needed.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Teams.

• Must be able to interpret blueprint drawings and use of engine manuals and/or publications

• Preferably with analytical knowledge and computer literate.

• Initiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.

• Familiar with MS Office applications including MS Teams.
