This role provides health care services applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment, performing MRI procedures, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Essential functions include verifying patient clinical history and ensuring documentation is available to the practitioner, completing proper patient identification and order verification, preparing patients for procedures with clear instructions, and providing appropriate patient care throughout the exam.
Qualifications typically required for this role include an Associate's degree or equivalent related experience, current ARRT or ARMRIT MRI board certification (or eligibility to obtain certification upon hire), and BLS certification.
