About the Role Join Ferrovial's Webber subsidiary as a Motor Grader Operator to conduct rough grade work on new highways. You will operate GPS and Laser Controlled Grading System motor grader to achieve close specification control, perform routine maintenance, and uphold safety and quality on civil infrastructure projects. What You'll Do
- Operate Motor Grader to perform rough grade work on highways.
- Operate GPS and Laser Controlled Grading System.
- Ensure close specification control and that work conforms to project specs, undergoing regular inspections.
- Perform routine maintenance on the motor grader (oiling, greasing, and adjustments).
- Comply with safety policies and report unsafe activities to supervisor.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to meet departmental and company goals.
- Demonstrate reliability, honesty, and hard work; contribute to a respectful work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Three (3) or more years of heavy highway and civil construction experience as a Motor Grader Operator.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
- Mathematical proficiency in basic geometry, algebra, and mathematics.
- Ability to move throughout a construction site, including climbing ladders and inclines; operate heavy equipment; and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong manual dexterity and safety-conscious attitude.
