About the Role Operate Motor Grader to conduct rough grade work on new highways. This role supports precision grading under plan specifications and works with GPS and Laser Controlled Grading System; maintains equipment and enforces safety standards. What You'll Do
- Operate GPS and Laser Controlled Grading System motor grader.
- Perform rough grade work to close specification control.
- Maintain motor grader including oiling, greasing, and adjustments.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
- Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Demonstrate fairness, honesty, reliability, and strong work ethic. What We're Looking For
- Three (3) or more years of heavy highway and civil construction as a Motor Grader Operator.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications.
- Mathematical proficiency related to basic geometry, algebra, and mathematics.
- Move throughout construction site with obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Heavy physical activity and manual dexterity; capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions. Compensation & Benefits
