Position is preferred to be located at 500 Broadway in Little Rock, Arkansas. Applicants located within the Arvest operational footprint (AR,OK,KS, MO) will also be considered during the interview process.
Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Summary: SUMMARY: The Mortgage Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the Quality Assurance (QA) database in order to meet the functional requirements of the department. The incumbent will collaborate with various members of mortgage production operations, mortgage servicing and quality assurance management to create necessary queries, exception reports, scorecards, trending and analysis reports. The Mortgage Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for helping to facilitate the quality assurance practices in support of Arvest Bank Mortgage Division and Central Mortgage Company (AMD/CMC).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Design and develop a quality assurance database based upon a working knowledge of job functions and responsibilities that are performed in the mortgage loan production operations and mortgage servicing areas.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the quality assurance data to coordinate the creation of Access queries and reports that would best present the data in the most useful and informative format.
- Identify opportunities for system automation of certain functions to eliminate user error. Provide recommendations to management on methods for implementing more standardized and efficient processes in reviewing and measuring various department functions.
- Analyze the quarterly reporting for mortgage production and mortgage servicing; identifying trends, issues, etc.
- Complete and distribute data integrity reviews for mortgage servicing, call monitoring and production operations to help ensure quality and reliability standards are maintained.
- Ensure quality assurance database is maintained accurately by performing random reviews of the data integrity, utilizing processes, methods, metrics and software that ensure the quality and reliability meet department standards and goals.
- Consult with Mortgage Systems Division (MSD) to create system reports and tracking systems in order to increase efficiency within the department.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of policy and procedure changes as they relate to quality assurance database, reports, and other technology utilized in the quality assurance department.
- Assist Quality Assurance Specialists with questions, issues, etc. to ensure department policies and procedures are followed and serve as back-up to Mortgage Quality Assurance Review Specialists in performing necessary quality assurance reviews and reviewing quality assurance issues or disputes.
- Serve as a primary resource with regards to questions or issues with the quality assurance database, system reports, etc.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all departments in mortgage loan production operations and mortgage servicing and communicate effectively with all levels of associates and management.
- May create and edit the quality assurance MAX page for updates, trends, etc.
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Responsibilities
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Associate Degree or equivalent related experience required.
- 3 years of mortgage production operations, mortgage servicing or financially regulated (1 year of which should be quality assurance or quality control or equivalent) experience required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills required.
- Knowledge of Arvest policies and procedures preferred.
- Previous quality assurance experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills when dealing with fellow associates, managers, and other bank personnel.
