Job title: Montagetechniker (m/w/d) - Assembly Technician
About the Role As part of a team, you will assemble large, customized machines, following technical specifications. You’ll work on mounting, assembly, alignment, hydraulics and pneumatics, and lifting, often at height. Weir offers a practical culture with room for humor and conversation.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate drawings, BOMs and assembly instructions within the team
- Check material availability and information
- Organize missing components and clarify ambiguities
- Assemble components and modules into complete machines
- Align motors and install lines and valves for pneumatics and hydraulics
- Perform fit and thread operations
- Modify, change and improve machines after testing
- Onboard new employees and temporary staff
- Disassemble and prepare modules for transport
- Contribute improvement ideas
What We're Looking For
- Completed vocational training at MBO level 3 or 4, preferably as an assembler
- Experience as a auto mechanic is also suitable
- Safety-conscious and adheres to safety guidelines
- Experience with lifts or lifting operations is a plus – training offered
- Very good knowledge of Dutch, English or German
Nice to Have
- Experience with lifting platforms or lifting operations (plus – training provided)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: EUR 3,500 – 4,300 gross per month (40 h/week)
