Mold Technician

About the Role Join Nolato Contour as a Mold Technician responsible for setting up molds and ensuring smooth operation of molding equipment in a medical device manufacturing environment. You’ll split your workday between the air-conditioned factory and outdoor checks, while keeping safety and quality at the forefront to help produce life-saving medical components. What You'll Do

• Use precise processes and tools to set-up molds in a variety of machines.
• Use our software to view job requirements, print work orders, and view the production schedule.
• Learn the molding cycle to the point it’s memorized.
• Follow and apply all safety rules.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment failures.
• Perform Water Main Shutoff and Electrical Power Down/Power Up procedures when needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on the molds.
• Prepare equipment for upcoming work orders.
• Respond to machine alarms in a timely manner.
• Report any irregularities (such as high scrap rates) to the Team Lead or Lead Tech. What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic communication and mathematical skills. Nice to Have
• Training or education in hydraulics, electronics, or mechanics.
• Six months of experience in the plastics industry.
• Prior experience in an FDA or ISO environment. Compensation & Benefits
