About the Role Join The Lawson Group as a Mold Inspection & Testing Specialist focused on mold assessment, sampling, and remediation consulting for New Hampshire and regional clients. You’ll conduct inspections, coordinate testing, design targeted remediation plans, and guide safe, compliant cleanup. What You'll Do

  • Conduct visual inspections for visible mold and moisture damage, focusing on common trouble spots.
  • Perform indoor and outdoor air sampling and surface sampling as needed to answer specific client questions.
  • Design client-specific testing and remediation plans, avoiding unnecessary wholesale testing.
  • Provide findings in plain English with actionable recommendations tailored to each space.
  • Oversee remediation projects with qualified contractors and ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and state regulations.
  • Advise on moisture-control strategies to prevent recurrence and assess HVAC systems for mold spread. What We're Looking For
  • Experience in mold inspection, testing, or environmental consulting; certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mold growth, moisture intrusion, and indoor air quality considerations.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with EPA, OSHA, and state regulations; a mindset of independent, unbiased consulting.
  • Local knowledge of New England building stock and climate is a plus.
  • Commitment to client safety, building science, and long-term support for workplaces. Nice to Have
  • Certified mold inspector/testing credentials.
  • Experience with older buildings common to New England (e.g., plaster/drywall scenarios).
