Overview

Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Maintenance Technician. This hybrid position is based 2 days out of our Oakland Service Center facility with travel throughout the East Bay, operating out of a mobile maintenance van and 3 days out of our Concord Service Center facility. The Mobile Maintenance Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

This position offers an hourly wage of $24.00 / hour and requires a valid California drivers license. The Oakland Service Center is located at 165 98th Ave, Oakland, CA with scheduled shifts starting and ending at this address and the Concord Service Center is located at 1235 Concord Ave, Concord, CA with scheduled shifts starting and ending at this address.

This position is subject to a pre-employment drug test as required under the Federal Transit Administration.

Must be able to work the following schedule:

Sunday and Monday from 7:00am - 3:30pm as a Mobile Lube Technician starting and ending at 165 98th Ave, Oakland, CA.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00am - 5:30pm at our Concord Service Center located at 1235 Concord Ave, Concord, CA.
Friday and Saturday OFF.

Responsibilities

Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels at various field locations
Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines at various field locations
Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance
Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair
Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures
Perform daily inventory checks to ensure proper stock levels of necessary supplies, including tires, oil, and lubricants
Manage proper disposal of used items, including old oil, filters, and other automotive waste, in compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Refill new oil and properly dispose of used oil on a daily basis, maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Perform all job functions outdoors, regardless of weather conditions, with a willingness to adapt to varying environmental challenges
Practice safe driving with attention to detail and thoroughness in order to prevent injury to others and damage to all vehicles in operation
Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
Maintain safe and clean work area
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous technician/mechanical experience required
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English
Must be able to work the following shift:

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am - 5:30pm at our Concord Service Center located at 1235 Concord Ave, Concord, CA.

My name is Michael uh or Mike. I've been working for the company as a management trainee for almost a year now. Enterprise Mobility's management training programme was really enticing for me just because I had heard how you can really set up a good foundation for your career, you know, all the opportunity that was at your disposal once you do the time and you work for the company, you kinda see what's um out there for you to kind of go into. Enterprise Mobility just seemed like the perfect fit with what I wanted with my career goals. I've always loved the idea that there's so much opportunity for growth. You don't have to come into a company and just stay at your one position, your one job. You can always be looking forward and, you know, trying something else. The big motivating factor for me at Enterprise Mobility is progression. Uh, we're a company that works hard, we reward hard work. So every day I get out of bed knowing that I'm doing my job to the best of my ability, and I will be rewarded for it. I joined Enterprise Mobility because I really like the culture and ethos. Uh, I like what they do. I like how they, um, motivate people, motivate communities, and the way they grow also, they are very superb multinational company.
