Job title: Mobile Technician II
About the Role Mobile Technician II is responsible for performing intermediate service and repairs on J.B. Hunt tractors, trailers, chassis, containers or power equipment. Under routine supervision, this role works outside of the shop, servicing equipment at customer sites or rail yards using our mobile service truck.
What You'll Do
- Perform intermediate-level preventive maintenance and repairs, including tire replacements, brake repairs, electrical diagnostics and basic structural repairs on tractor or trailer equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair ABS system
- Properly operate the mobile service truck and attend to truck inventory
- Assist with onboarding and mentorship of tractor technician trainees
- Follow all safety requirements while onsite and at customer locations
