About the Role Light-it partnered with the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation to design and develop a mobile mindfulness platform delivering courses, guided practices, and multimedia content. The project aimed to ship an MVP within four months, balancing speed, performance, and an engaging user experience, with accessibility considerations for Visual Snow Syndrome and an admin portal for B2B content management. What You'll Do
- Lead product strategy, MVP definition, and roadmap development for the Oxford Mindfulness platform.
- Design and iterate UX/UI from wireframes to interactive prototypes, ensuring onboarding survey personalization.
- Develop mobile app using React Native; implement backend in Laravel on AWS; integrate Mixpanel for analytics.
- Implement a content model supporting courses, articles, practices, progress tracking, and gamification.
- Build an admin portal to curate content, manage user access, and tailor course distribution for partner organizations.
- Collaborate with Visual Snow Initiative to deliver accessible features (e.g., dark mode, blue light mode) and inclusivity for Visual Snow users.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product discovery, Strategy, UX/UI, Development & QA) to deliver a cohesive MVP. What We're Looking For
- Experience delivering mobile apps with React Native and web tech (React, Laravel).
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design, especially for Visual Snow or similar conditions.
- Ability to work across product discovery, strategy, design, development, QA.
- Familiarity with analytics like Mixpanel.
- Experience with admin portals / B2B partnerships is a plus. Nice to Have
- Experience in Healthcare or EdTech.
- Direct experience with Visual Snow accessibility needs.
- Prior work on admin portals or enterprise client deployments.
