We are looking for a self-motivated, curious storyteller with a love for shooting, writing, and editing national stories of interest, including consumer and health. Key Responsibilities:
- Pitch daily story ideas, gather news and information for various platforms including TV and digital
- Will work with producers and news managers on developing, researching, investigating, writing, producing, and presenting stories as needed for both TV and digital platforms
- Present completed news stories that are accurate, journalistically sound, fair and balanced
- Will report live during affiliate newscasts in cities around the country, including breaking news as needed
- Will shoot, edit, coordinate, manage, conduct, and video record interviews
- Build contacts for developing impactful original stories
- Flexibility with respect to scheduling and/or assigned work shifts Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MSJ/ Television Reporter Experience
- Proven interview skills
- A valid driver’s license
- Minimum 5 years' experience writing, producing and desktop editing Education Requirements:
