About the Role Canonical is hiring an MLOps Field Engineer to help global companies embrace AI/ML using open source capabilities on public and private cloud infrastructure, Linux and Kubernetes. The role focuses on enabling the enterprise adoption of Ubuntu, Kubeflow, MLFlow, Feast, DVC and related analytics, machine learning and data technologies, through customer interactions in a primarily remote setting.
What You'll Do
- Engage with customers during presales cycles to solve real-world problems and align AI/ML initiatives with Canonical's open source data platform.
- Apply expert insights to customer challenges across public cloud, private cloud, Linux, and Kubernetes environments.
- Promote and enable adoption of Ubuntu, Kubeflow, MLFlow, Feast, DVC and related data technologies within enterprise contexts.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple countries to deliver scalable open source data platform solutions.
What We're Looking For
- MLOps engineers who enjoy customer conversations and solving customer problems during the presales cycle.
- Experience using open source AI/ML capabilities on public and private cloud infrastructure, Linux, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms and tools such as Kubeflow, MLFlow, Feast, DVC, and related analytics/machine learning technologies.
- Comfortable working in a distributed, remote-first environment with colleagues in 75+ countries.
