About the role

ML Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, monitor and maintain proprietary ML models including multi-agent systems and LLMs to advance healthcare operations and workflows.

• Tailor open-source LLMs and integrate enterprise LLMs for healthcare requirements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Develop and implement effective prompting techniques to enhance model performance in complex healthcare applications, such as prior authorization processes.

• Build and maintain Python based microservices using FastAPI.

• Deploy and orchestrate services on Kubernetes, ensuring reliability, scalability and security particularly within GCP environments.

• Conduct cutting-edge research in AI for healthcare, author scientific papers and contribute to the broader scientific and healthcare community.

• Contribute to building intelligent simulation systems that emulate and replace service-led workflows, aiming for significant efficiency gains and cost reductions.

• Ensure all AI solutions adhere to ethical standards and comply with healthcare regulations regarding data privacy and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field from a tier-I institution.

• 3-5 years of experience in building scalable ML systems and backend services.

• In-depth knowledge of Large Language Models (including prompting strategies and fine-tuning).\

• Proficient with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, with experience in model development, deployment and optimization.

• Solid experience with Python and frameworks like FastAPI to build RESTful microservices.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes deployment and GCP infrastructure.

• Proven ability to conduct independent research and author scientific papers demonstrating innovation and contributions to the field.

• Excellent verbal and written abilities, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

• Budget : 50L and Location : Remote (Flying 1 week to HQ at Vadodhra, Gujarat
