Job title: Mixologist / Bartender
Job Description
- The Mixologist is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating an exceptional guest experience.
- The role requires creativity, product knowledge, excellent customer service, and strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and other beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Create signature cocktails and seasonal drink menus that enhance the guest experience.
- Recommend drinks based on guest preferences and menu pairings.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared consistently, accurately, and promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area before, during, and after service.
- Monitor and replenish bar inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
- Assist with stock counts and report shortages, breakages, or discrepancies.
- Store beverages, garnishes, and ingredients properly to maintain freshness and quality.
- Verify guests meet the legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol consumption.
- Follow all health, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
- Operate bar equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
- Support bar promotions, events, and special functions.
- Stay updated on current beverage trends, spirits, wines, cocktails, and mixology techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum of an OND, SSCE, or equivalent qualification.
- Certification in Mixology, Bartending, or Hospitality is an added advantage.
- At least 2–5 years of experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a reputable restaurant, hotel, lounge, or bar.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Salary
N90,000 - N100,000 monthly.
