Our address is at Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA, Nasarawa State, Nigeria (On-site).
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Mining Safety Manager
Job Location: Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA - Nasarawa
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Requirements
- MSc or Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or another related field.
- Strong knowledge of mining safety regulations, HSE standards, risk assessment, and hazard management.
- Proven experience developing and implementing Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Ability to conduct site safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of mining equipment, drilling, blasting, excavation, and heavy-duty machinery safety.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and supervise workers.
- Ability to develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency response procedures.
- Experience monitoring compliance with government regulations and company safety standards.
- Relevant professional HSE/Safety certification will be an added advantage.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA, Nasarawa State.
- Strong commitment to zero-accident culture, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.
Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 / month.
